One of my favorite places to eat at is Georgia’s, with spectacular southern food, including the best chili mac & cheese I’ve ever had. I’m not normally a thin crust kind of girl, but I am a fan of Ecco for sure. If you want something different, try the Lamb Kabseh ($15) and be ready to eat it right down to the bones.

Reservations are recommended, and you can reserve from 30 minutes to two hours of time on the tramps. Check out California-centric “A” Wine Cellar wine bar in Section 111. Buy a bottle and it transferred into an unbreakable carafe--with two plastic glasses--so you can enjoy it at the game. To get the local vibe, hang out by the Trout Farm (Section 101), the designated cheering section for star center fielder Mike Trout. There aren’t many places where you can visit an old-fashioned barbershop while enjoying a local craft beer, but that's what’s on tap at Barbeer—just one of the trendy stores at Center Street Promenade. Whether you want to rock out to big names like the Foo Fighters and Katy Perry or prefer smaller clubs with an indie music vibe, Anaheim has venues to suit your mood and style.
There’s a wooden bar that wraps around the counter in front of the display kitchen if you like to watch the show, common tables in front and porch seating outside for those who want to get social. When the season ends, the Honda Center transforms into a thrilling entertainment venue featuring top acts like the Foo Fighters and more family-friendly events like Disney on Ice. Let’s start with the main attraction, the Anaheim Packing House. This food hall is housed in the restored Packard Building, a former citrus packing house. The Packing House features over 20 artisan eateries and shops, each with their own unique flavor and style. Maybe you love great steak—like Los Angeles Angels star outfielder Mike Trout, who celebrated his contract extension with a Cowboy Ribeye here. Or maybe you know how to two-step or line dance (can you say “Watermelon Crawl”?).
You’re allowed two sides, so grab some crisp large shred coleslaw, along with red beans and rice to sop up the sauce. If you love sandwiches, pick up the Spicy Andouille Po Boy ($8.95). It’s fully “dressed” with shredded lettuce, tomatoes, dill pickles, Dijon mustard and garlic mayo which all soaks into a warm French roll.

Over 3,500 bustling Vietnamese-owned businesses and restaurants pack the region, home to almost 40,000 Vietnamese Americans. Little Saigon covers roughly three square miles, mostly in the city of Westminster, but also spills over into Garden Grove, Santa Ana, and Fountain Valley. Baseball, hockey, and now football fans cheer for their teams throughout the year, and their home stadiums and arenas score points with their special features and offerings. Walkable, livable, sociable areas have sprouted around the town in recent years, making the city a worthy magnet for both locals and visitors. Speaking of secrets, I haven’t mentioned the one hiding in plain sight in this landmark building. Dare I reveal it or should I keep what may very well be my favorite non-Disney place in Anaheim to myself?
People are still coming to the Anaheim Packing House after 100 years… only this time, they’re not just coming for the oranges. Over at Mini-Monster, a delicious hot cocoa can be ordered, just beware of the snowman taking a hot cocoa bath. You’ll also notice an abundance of phones and cameras out, and while we have no official statement confirming this, every food item here seems to be designed with Instagram in mind. The Anaheim Packing District consists of the Center Street Promenade, Farmers Park, the Packard Building, the MAKE Building (later in the series), and the focus of our travels today, the historic Anaheim Packing House.
Right at the heart of it is the restored Anaheim Packing House, a former Sunkist citrus-packing facility built in 1919. Abandoned for decades, the building has been reborn as a multi-storey food hall, with entertainment spaces for live music and events. Inside, two dozen food stalls and eateries—many focusing on hyper-local ingredients—tempt you to stop, taste and enjoy. Stop by Lemon Drop for a pressed juice or lemonade and then plan your dining strategy.
Sweeten your visit to the Anaheim Packing House with a hand-dipped gelato pop. It’s a DIY dessert when you select your gelato flavor, dipping and toppings, too. There’s no wrong way to personalize your pop, but if you’re looking for inspiration try the Chocolate Covered Pistachio combo.
We even got a peek at the Disneyland fireworks going off from Farmer’s Park, which was a fun way to end the night. Parking can be a bit of a challenge, especially on weekends when the Packing District is busiest. The Kroft serves over-the-top poutines, out-of-this-world sandwiches, and drool-worthy sides make this location simply can't-miss.
BXCR serves guests wine and classic cocktails in a box-car inspired setting. Create your own dish at Rolling Boil, where you can choose from varying broths, veggies, and protein to create your ideal meal. Experience Mexican cuisine with a fine dining flair at Urbana (pictured above), an award-winning restaurant serving gourmet tacos, hand-crafted cocktails, and fresh ceviches.
